Disney Land is the best!

A while ago we got to go to Disney Land on a girl's trip. It was Kylie's first time and she was so excited. We met up with Marcus and Lindsay on their honeymoon, at the Bengal BBQ, on our first day. It is one of our favorite places to eat at.

Kylie and London dressed up as Tinker Bell the first day. Kylie's favorite rides were Splash and Space Mountain. I couldn't believe she was so wild and crazy! She is just like her Grammy and mom. We weathered the rain in our ponchos and on the last day we ran from ride to ride.

We said hello to McQueen and Mater for Dash. Kylie dressed up as the Little Mermaid that day.

Kylie had to have a turkey leg. It only cost me an arm and a leg to buy it.

General Conference

General Conference was wonderful again! We spent the weekend up at my parents cabin listening to all of the conference sessions. I always look forward to hearing what our prophet and apostles have to say to us.
The two biggest themes that stuck out to me were number one, we live in uncertain times, but there is hope in the future and we can still find joy and happiness as we have faith.
The second theme, for me, was we need to do better at teaching our families the gospel. The home is where this needs to be done. We need to teach our children with purpose and focus and make sure the Savior is spoken of often in our homes. Jesus Christ needs to be the reason that we do the things we do in our lives. I was so grateful for all of the talks that focused on this, and I am going to work at being a better teacher and not just let life happen. I hope you enjoyed listening to conference too. If you missed some of it you can go to www.lds.org. I like to download the talks on my I-pod and listen to them over the next 6 months.

This is a picture of the Nauvoo temple. It reminds me of family. Marc's mom is serving a mission in Nauvoo right now. I am so grateful that we can be together for eternity because of the ordinances performed in temples!

He has arrived (only 10 months ago)!

Yes we did have a boy! Zack is ten months old now. He is such a joy in our lives. He has the sweetest smile that lights up his whole face. Kylie loves him, just like I knew she would, but she still wants a sister. She is a little mother and always wants to hold him.

This picture is in Cabo. One of our favorite places to go when it is cold. Zack loved the pool.

Don't you just want to squeeze those cute cheeks!
